Red Brigades planning attacks

Rome - Fifteen suspected members of the far-left Red Brigades arrested in northern Italy this week were preparing attacks on specific targets, interior minister Giuliano Amato said on Wednesday.
Amato told lawmakers that "concrete" targets included the Milan headquarters of the right-leaning daily Libero and the home of a labour law expert.
He said an incendiary attack with petrol and acid had been planned for the Libero offices during a day off for the editorial staff as a "demonstrative act".
He said they also considered attacking a Milan residence of former prime minister Silvio Berlusconi.
The 15 suspected members of the far-left Red Brigades were arrested in a large-scale police operation on Monday in the northern cities of Milan, Padua, Turin and Trieste.
They are accused of "associating with terrorists and participating in an armed group".
